Relaxation and Adventure on Our Houseboat "Brino"

Whether for two or with friends and family (up to 7 people), on our houseboat "Brino," you’ll experience the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. With the additional bow and stern thrusters, even inexperienced captains can navigate safely.

Whether you're looking for a peaceful getaway to enjoy nature or an exciting adventure holiday with the kids, our top-class houseboat is the ideal choice. Explore the beauty of the Mecklenburg Lake District and its surroundings.

At night, you can dock in picturesque marinas, and during the day, go on an adventure or simply relax on the water.

We’ve made sure the "Brino" is easy to drive, with bow and stern thrusters, a rudder position indicator, depth sounder, and a 50 HP motor, making it child’s play to manoeuvre in all directions – no sailing experience required.

Thanks to the rearview camera, you’ll always have everything in view. Captains without a licence will receive an introduction at the marina and can obtain a charter certificate for a fee.

Your floating holiday home features a light-filled living area with floor-to-ceiling windows and large sliding doors leading to the bow terrace. The fully equipped kitchen includes a gas and electric oven.

There’s an air conditioning unit for hot days, and the winter setup with central heating (propane gas) ensures warmth even on cooler days. 

The shaded rooftop terrace with 35 m² invites you to relax – perfect for sun lovers, explorers, and long summer evenings. The houseboat has 2 comfortable bedrooms.

A large flat-screen TV in the living area and another in the double bedroom provide entertainment with a high-quality self-aligning satellite system. Simply connect your Amazon or Netflix stick. All our houseboats are equipped with a Wi-Fi router.

For a cozy BBQ evening, there is a grill available. Additionally, you can rent stand-up paddleboards, canoes, electric dinghies, or bicycles from the harbour master for a fee. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed.

Important Details:

  • Clearance height: 3.95 m (5.45 m with the sunshade extended). Remember to retract the sunshade before passing under bridges or other obstacles.
  • The boat’s leisurely pace focuses more on enjoying the surrounding nature than covering long distances, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the beauty of the landscape.

Key Information:

  • Check-in/out: Boat handovers and returns are available Monday through Saturday. The marina is closed on Sundays.
  • Home base: Marina Röblinsee in Fürstenberg an der Havel.
  • Restricted Areas: Please note that our houseboats cannot access the Müritz due to operational limitations.
  • License Requirement: A charter certificate is required, which you can obtain on arrival through a 3-hour course covering theory and practical skills (unless you already have an inland boating license). Optional skipper training (45 minutes, €50) is available for less experienced guests. Plan to arrive by 1:00 PM.
  • Crew Requirement: For safe navigation and lock operations, a minimum of three adults is required onboard.
  • Wind Restrictions: In winds of force 2 or higher, the houseboat should remain in the marina due to its sensitivity to wind. At force 3.5, leaving the marina is strictly prohibited.
  • Fuel Costs: Fuel consumption is charged at the end of your trip at €4 per liter.
