Houseboat “Dawn” – Relaxation and Freedom on the Water

Experience a truly special getaway aboard our houseboat “Dawn” and enjoy relaxing days surrounded by the beautiful lake scenery near Fürstenberg an der Havel. Far away from the stress of everyday life, a vacation full of peace, nature, and freedom awaits you – completely at your own pace.

The “Dawn” offers plenty of opportunities to fully enjoy your time on the water. Whether you are having breakfast on the front terrace, sunbathing on the spacious rooftop terrace, or ending the day with a beautiful sunset view – every moment on board becomes something special.

Inside, the modern and cozy interior with bright wood finishes creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The open-plan kitchen offers plenty of storage space and room to cook, making you feel at home throughout your stay.

The houseboat features two bedrooms. The master bedroom is equipped with a comfortable double bed, while the second bedroom includes a bunk bed and an additional single bed. The sofa in the living area also provides two extra sleeping spaces. This makes the “Dawn” suitable for up to seven guests – ideal for families, friends, or small groups.

The large rooftop terrace is perfect for relaxing and offers enough space for spending time together or enjoying peaceful moments alone. Whether you want to read a book, admire the surrounding nature, or simply unwind, the “Dawn” offers your perfect place to relax.

For cozy summer evenings, a barbecue grill is available for an additional fee. Guests can also rent bicycles or stand-up paddle boards from the harbor master for an extra charge. Dogs up to 12 kg are welcome on board as well.

Good to Know About the “Dawn”

Bridge clearance: 3.92 m
With the sunshade installed, the total height is 5.42 m. Please make sure to fold down the sunshade before passing under bridges.
Cruising style:
The “Dawn” is designed for relaxed and comfortable cruising through the lake district – perfect for nature lovers and those seeking tranquility.

Important Information

Check-in & Check-out:
Boat handovers and returns are possible from Monday to Saturday. The marina is closed on Sundays.
Home marina:
Marina Röblinsee in Fürstenberg an der Havel.
Cruising area:
The Müritz is not part of the permitted cruising area for our houseboats.
Charter license:
If you do not hold a German inland boating license (Sportbootführerschein Binnen), you can obtain a temporary charter license upon arrival during a approximately 3-hour course including theory and practice. For beginners, we additionally recommend an optional skipper training session (45 minutes / €50). Please plan your arrival no later than 1:00 PM.
Crew requirements:
For safe maneuvering during docking, anchoring, and lock passages, at least three adults or two adults plus one capable teenager are required on board.
Alternatively, the “Dawn” can also be booked as a stationary houseboat in the marina – perfect for guests who want to enjoy the houseboat atmosphere without cruising.
Wind regulations:
Due to its design, the houseboat is sensitive to wind. From wind force 2 onwards, we recommend staying in the marina. Leaving the marina is prohibited from wind force 3.5.
Fuel:
Fuel consumption is charged at €4 per liter after your trip. Alternatively, you may refuel the houseboat yourself at the local gas station in Fürstenberg. Fuel canisters are available from the harbor master.
